For those who are on the Workspace individual plan, Google has some excellent news. Users of the service, including independent contractors and business owners, will soon receive a huge storage upgrade from 15GB to 1TB at no additional cost. Most Workspace individual customers won’t have to worry about outgrowing their Drive and Gmail storage space any longer.
Up until th is point, Google has only provided the same amount of storage for Workspace individual users as it does for Gmail users who sign up for a free account. You would need to purchase additional storage through Google One to boost that capacity. According to Google, customers won’t need to do anything because their storage will be upgraded automatically.
For individuals who use the multi-send mode to send emails to numerous recipients, there are more possibilities elsewhere. These email blasts can be customized using mail merge tags, such as @firstname. Even though the Workspace individual plan doesn’t now offer custom email addresses, that would be helpful. The Workspace individual plan is also coming to the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, the Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Greece, and Argentina, among other countries.
As Google rolls out this change, every account will automatically receive an increase from the 15 GB of storage it currently has to 1 TB. Most Workspace Individual users won’t have to worry about running out of storage capacity in Gmail or Drive anymore thanks to this improvement.
